The forms of production

A fundamental characteristic of the forms of production is that in the case of individual artisans, although the tasks are carried out by the artisan or the artisan who carries out the activity within the family group, other members of the group can sometimes participate and / or collaborate in the production or commercialization. And in this case, the productive form then consists of an activity that is carried out individually and family with the collaboration of the members of the domestic group, with the consequent division of tasks obtaining raw materials, production and marketing. The crafts, products generated in this field are aimed at obtaining certain exchange values ​​that meet the needs of the group. At the same time, in the domestic unit the reproduction of the labor force is carried out, since it is articulated to the market through the sale of work force of its members who are employed as salaried personnel in the field of construction or residue recolection. It is also frequent the consideration of services for the granting of social assistance plans subsidized by the State, in addition to periodically emigrate in search of other working conditions. The latter was observed in the first years of installation of the groups when there were labor links with their places of origin, migrating for the cotton harvest. Women and men carry out the production and marketing of handicrafts and in some cases, the children of the group participate in some of the production phases such as painting or molding for the case of ceramics and sometimes they can carry out the sale in the areas near the fairs in which the group is located. In this productive situation the joint participation of several members of the group in the different productive and marketing instances is preeminent. However, these characteristics of work generated in the domestic sphere do not have long-term continuity and what at one time is the task of several members is then carried forward only by a member who continues with the activity.
